To witness the efforts of the Forest Conservation Bureau in the process of Taiwan’s economic development and leave behind the history of forest development for future generations’ remembrance and education, a collection of machinery and equipment used in early logging, transportation, and processing has been gathered to create the ‘Veterans Forestry History Site.’ Among them, a roughly 600-meter-long elevated cable logging system and a set of transportation equipment are installed to dynamically demonstrate the logging and transportation operations conducted in the rugged mountainous terrain during the early years.
