The Tranquil Stone Garden area in Mingchi includes several landscaped features that utilize the natural topography. It comprises the Fuchun Courtyard, built to showcase the site’s natural characteristics, the Cixiao Pavilion, which President Chiang erected in honor of his mother, the Shuiqin Cave, Qushui Pavilion, Taolan Pavilion, Liushang Pavilion, a flower garden, and a Japanese-inspired rock garden. The park features waterfalls, ponds, unique rocks, small bridges, and lush forests as far as the eye can see, making it a place with a profound Zen-like atmosphere.
